Ḥ ad ī th 44 Monthly Renaissance November 2021 Al-Nas ā ’ ī says that he is matr ū k al- ḥ ad ī th . 10 Ibn al-Jawz ī records: Wak ī ‘ has severely criticized him; A ḥ mad says that he is a liar and fabricates narratives; Ya ḥ y ā says that he is laysa bi thiqah ; ‘Amr ibn ‘Al ī , al-Azd ī and al-Nas ā ’ ī regard him to be matr ū k al- ḥ ad ī th ; Al-D ā raqu ṭ n ī says that he is ḍ a‘ ī f ; Ibn ‘Ad ī says that the weakness in his narratives is evident and that they are fabricated; Ibn Ḥ ibb ā n expresses the fact that he is alone in narrating maql ū b ā t from trustworthy narrators and it is not permissible to adduce from him. 11 Ibn Ḥ ajar says that he has been accused of fabrication. 12 III Conclusion In the light of the above mentioned data, this narrative cannot be accepted ـــــــــــــــــــــــــ 10.
