Reflections 31 Monthly Renaissance June 2020 ﺎل ﻗ ﺸﺔ – ﻳﺎﻋﺎ ٰ ن ﷲ ﻌﻄ ˜ رﻓﻴﻖٌ ﻳﺤﺐ ﻟﺮﻓْﻖو ﻲ d ﻋ A ﻌﻄ ˜ ﻟﺮﻓْﻖﻣﺎﻵﻹ ﻲ d ﻋ A ﻟْﻌﻨْﻒ d ﻌﻄﻰﻋ ˜ وﻣﺎﻵﻹ A ﻣﺎﺳﻮ ه ‘ Ā ’ishah (rta), the wife of the Prophet (sws), reported that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “‘ Ā ’ishah! Indeed, God is gentle and He loves gentleness and gives [to a person who shows] gentleness what He does not give [to a person who shows] harshness and what He does not give to any other person.” 3 ﻦْ ﻋ ٰ ﻋﻠ ﷲ Ad ﺻ Á ﺸﺔ زوْج ﻟﻨ – ﻋﺎ ﻴۡﻪ وﺳﻠ ﻢ ﻋ ﻦْ ٰ ﻋﻠ ﷲ Ad ﺻ Á ﻟﻨ ﻴۡﻪ وﺳﻠ ﻗ ﻢ ﺎل B ن ﻟﺮﻓْﻖﻵﻹﻳﻜﻮن ْ A ٍ ْء Ð ﻵﻹز ﻧﻪو ﻵﻹ ْءٍ إﻵﻹﺷﺎﻧﻪ Ð ﻳ ْعﻣﻦ ‘ Ā ’ishah (rta), the wife of the Prophet (sws), reported that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “Whenever gentleness is found in something it increases its grandeur and when it is taken away from anything it makes it flawed.” 4 3. Refraining from Deception ﻦْ ﻋ ﻫﺮﻳْﺮة A¢ ﻧﻪ ﺳﻤﻊ رﺳﻮْ ٰ ل ﷲ ﺻ d ٰ ﻋﻠ ﷲ A ﻴۡﻪ وﺳﻠ ﻢ ˜ ل ﻮْ ﻘ ﻟﻨﺎس ذو b° ن ﻟﺬيﻳ Ÿْ› ﻟْﻮﺟْﻬ ﺎْ ٍ ﻫﺆﻵﻹءﺑﻮﺟْﻪٍ وﻫﺆﻵﻹءﺑﻮﺟْﻪ AÌ Ab ū Hurayrah (rta) reported that he heard God’s Messenger (sws) say: “The worst amongst the people is he who has two faces; to some people he comes with one face and to others with another.” 5 4. White Lies ﺎﻧﺖْ j ﻣﻌﻴْﻂٍ و A¢ ﻠْﺜﻮمٍ ﺑﻨْﺖﻋﻘْﺒﺔﺑﻦأ j ﺣﻤﻴْﺪﺑﻦﻋﺒﺪ ﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦﺑﻦﻋﻮْفٍ أنأﻣﻪأم ﻌْﻦ ﻟﻨ ˜ ﺑﺎ AÌ ﻣﻦ ﻟْﻤﻬﺎﺟﺮ ت ﻵْﻻول ﻟﻶﻹ ٰ ﻋﻠ ﷲ Ad ﺻ Á ﻴۡﻪ وﺳﻠ ﻢ ﺗْﻪ أﻧﻬﺎ šœْ ﺧ ﺳﻤﻌﺖْ رﺳﻮْ ٰ ل ﷲ ﺻ d ٰ ﻋﻠ ﷲ A ﻴۡﻪ وﺳﻠ و ﻢ Ÿ› ﻘﻮلﻟﻴﺲ ﻟْﻜﺬ ب ﻟﺬيﻳﺼْﻠﺢﺑ ˜ ﻫﻮ 3.
