God is All-knowing and Wise. But the repentance of those i s no t acceptable who sin all their lives and, when death com es to th em, say: “I repent now!” nor of those who die as disbelievers. It is for these for whom We have prepared a dreadful punishment. [So, the real sphere to outdo one another is righteous deeds]. And ask God for His favours [in this real sphere]. Indeed, God has knowledge of all things.
