www.javedahmadghamidi.com www.al-mawrid.org Selections from the Qur’ ā n 88 ٰۡۡۡﻋﻤﻞ ﻟﺸﻴﻄﻦﻓﺎﺟﺘﻨﺒﻮه ۡ ﻟﻌﻠﻜﻢ ﻔﻠﺤﻮن k ۡۡ . ٰۡۡۡ ﻧﻤﺎﻳﺮﻳﺪ ﻟﺸﻴﻄﻦ ن ۡ ﻳﻮﻗﻊ ۡۡﺑﻴﻨﻜﻢ ﻟﻌﺪ وة و ۡۡﻟﺒﻐﻀﺂء ﻟﺨﻤ KXۡۡ ۡۡﺮ و ﻟﻤﻴ[@ و @ ﷲ#" و A ﻢ ﻋﻦ ذ c ٰۡۡۡﻳﺼﺪ ﻓﻬﻞ ﻧﺘﻢﻣﻨﺘﻬﻮن ~ ٰۡۡۡۡۡﻋﻦ ﻟﺼﻠﻮة . ) ٥: ٩٠ - ٩١( Believers! This liquor, gambling, idols and these divining arrows are filthy works of Satan. So, stay away from them that you may succeed. Satan seeks to stir up enmity and malice among you by means of liquor and gambling and to keep you from the remembrance of Al lah and from the prayer. So, will you not stay clear of them? (5:90-91) Prohibition of Interest ۡﻟﺬﻳ ۡ ﻠﻮۡﺎﻦ ﻳ ﻵﻮ ٰن ﻟﺮﺑ S ﻵن ۡﻣﻮ ۡﻘﻮ ﻹ S ﻹ ﻛﻤﺎ ﻳ ۡم ﻟﺬي ۡﻘﻮ ﺘﺨﺒﻄﻪ ۡ ﻟﺸﻴ ﻦ ٰﻄ ۡﻣﻦ ﻟﻤﺲ ٰ ذ ﻟﻚﺑﺎ ﻧﻬ ۡۡۤﻢ ﻗﺎﻟﻮ ۡۡﻧﻤﺎ ﻟﺒﻴ ٰۡﻊﻣﺜﻞ ﻟﺮﺑ â و ﻮ ٰۡۡﺣﻞ ﷲ#" ﻟﺒﻴ ﻊ ٰوﺣ@م ﻟﺮﺑ ﻮ ﺟﺂ ۡﻓﻤﻦ هء P ٌۡ ﻣﻮﻋﻈﺔ ۡ ﻣﻦ ٖ رﺑﻪ ﻓ ۡﺎﻧ í ]ﻓﻠﻪ ٰﺘ P ۤ ﻣﺎﺳﻠﻒ و ﻣﺮه Pۡ ﷲ#" Kwٰ ۡ وﻣﻦﻋﺎدﻓﺎ & وﻟ ﺐ ﻟﻨﺎر ٰۡﺻﺤ )ﻚ ~ ﻫ ٰﺎﺧﻬۡۡﻢﻓﻴ نۡﻠﺪو . ) ٢٧٥:٢ ( Those who devour interest will rise up on the Day of Judgement like the man whom Satan has driven to madness by his touch because they claim that trading is like interest and how strange it is that God has allowed trading and forbidden interest. Consequently, he who received this warning from the Almighty and desisted [from devouring it], then whatever he has taken in the past belongs to him and his fate is in the hands of God.
