www.javedahmadghamidi.com www.al-mawrid.org Selections from the Qur’ ā n 76 The Prayer: A Means of Warding off Evil ]ﻋﻦ ﻟﻔﺤﺸﺂ í ٰٰٰۡۡۡو ﻗﻢ ﻟﺼﻠﻮة ن ﻟﺼﻠﻮة ﺗﻨ ء و @° ۡۡﻟﻤﻨ . ) ٤٥:٢٩ ( And be diligent in the prayer because it deters [people] from lewdness and evil. (29:45) The Prayer: An Eraser of Sins و ٰﻗﻢ ﻟﺼﻠ ةﻮ KX@² ﻟﻨﻬ ًۡﺎ ر و زﻟﻔﺎ ﻣﻦ ﻟﻴ ﻞ ٰۡن ﻟﺤﺴﻨ ۡﺬﻫ ﺖ ﻳ 4`ۡ ﻟﺴﻴ ٰ ذ تٰﺎ @A ٰۡﻟﻚ ذ @ﻳ ٰي ﻟﻠﺬ Aۡ ﻦ . ) ١ ١٤:١١ ( And be diligent i n your prayer at both ends of the day and in a portion of the night too. No doubt, such good deeds compensate for sins. This is a reminder for those who benefit from reminders. (11:114) The Prayer: A Means of Countering Hardships ٰۡۡۡۡﻳﺎﻳﻬﺎ ﻟﺬﻳﻦ ﻣﻨﻮ ﺳﺘﻌﻴﻨﻮ ﺑﺎﻟﺼ o ?ﻳﻦ ` ? و ﻟﺼﻠﻮة ن ﷲ#" ﻣﻊ ﻟﺼ `ٰٰٰۡۡ . ) ١٥٣:٢ ( Believers! Seek help from steadfastness and from the prayer. Indeed, God is with those who are steadfast. (2:153) ﻘﻮﻟﻮن و ﺳﺒﺢ ﺑﺤﻤﺪ رﺑﻚ ﻗﺒﻞ ﻃﻠﻮع S ﻣﺎ KL ? ﻋ ` ٰۡۡۡۡۡۡۡۡﻓﺎﺻ ۡۡﻟﺸﻤﺲو ﻗﺒﻞ ۡۡﻟﻐﺮوب . ۡۡۡۡ وﻣﻦ ﻟﻴﻞﻓﺴﺒﺤﻪ و دﺑﺎر ﻟﺴﺠﻮد . ) ٥٠ :٣٩ - ٤٠( © "All rights of this book are reserved for the publisher and the author.
