So, if such an oath is broken, its atonement is to feed ten needy persons of a standard with which you normally feed your own families or to clothe ten needy people or to liberate a slave. But whosoever cannot afford these should fast for three days. This is the atonement for the oaths when you have sworn. And protect your oaths. In this way, God explains to you His revelations that you may be grateful. (5:89) © "All rights of this book are reserved for the publisher and the author. This copy is for reading purpose only.
