Introduction to the Quran

Introduction to the Qur’ ā n 19 deliberation will unfold this similarity between other s ū rah pairs. Some s ū rahs are an exception to this scheme as S ū rah al-F ā ti ḥ ah, which is like an introduction to the whole Qur’ ā n. Some other s ū rahs like S ū rah al-N ū r (24) and S ū rah A ḥ z ā b (33) occur as a supplement or as a conclusion of a chapter. Following is a brief description of the seven Qur’ ā nic chapters indicating the place of revelation of each s ū rah .
